Repair of EAF bottom

All the steel slags should be tapped out before repairing EAF bottom. Apart from the refining slag tapping during oxidizing period, slags should be tapped out or into slag ladle after tapping of molten steel. Please pay attention to the following matters:
1.The charging amount of steel srape should be decrease before reparing EAF bottom, try not to charge dolomite.
2.The tapping temperature for the heat before repairing should be 30-70℃ higher than normal tapping temperature.
3.Adjust the fluidity in order to facilitate slag tapping.
4.If there is some slag remaining in the furnace, while waiting for ladle, slag melting for heat preservation should be done, which requires making the electrodes longer to avoid power transmission failure.
5.If the tapping of molten steel is not thorough, use steel billets to adhere the molten steel until there is no molten steel left.

Alkaline Refractories 
Alkaline refractory material is available for high temperature calcination,also has superior chemical resistance property, which is a main material for cement kiln to keep high production quality, high yield, low consumption and long-term safe operation. High alumina brick

High alumina bricks suitable for cement kilns includephosphate bonded alumina brick, phosphate bonded high alumina wear-resistant brick, anti-stripping alumina brick, chemically bound (special) alumina brick and general alumina brick and so on.

Alkali Brick Series
Alkali brick has excellent alkali corrosion performance, under certain conditions, it will react with the alkali compound kiln materials and kiln gas, rapidlyforming enclosed type dense protective enamel layer on the turn, preventingthe continuing internal mixing and bricks "base crack ", which is a indispensable kiln lining material in NSP kiln. This series bricks include ordinary alkali-resistant brick, high-strength alkali-resistant brick, insulation alkali-resistant brick and arch type alkali-resistant brick.
Series refractory castables 
Refractory castables can be produced with simple production process, which is flexible and convenient to be used in the cement kiln system. It has become increasingly common to be applied in the complex structure of cement kiln preheater system. Refractory castables suitable for cement kiln mainly include corundum castable, high alumina castable, alkali-resistant castablesand lightweight castable.

How to compound magnesia refractory mortar

Magnesia refractory mortar is used to masonry magnesia bricks or magnesia-chrome bricks.

Generally, magnesia refractory mortar is supplied in proportion by the supplier, and the builder adds the water glass with a density of 1.41 to 1.44 and can be used as a paste. If mud seams need to be widened, the grain size of magnesite can be properly increased; if the mortar condenses slowly, about 0.5% of Portland cement can be uniformly mixed in the dry powder to promote condensation. But one batch can not be too much to avoid condensation during use. Once condensation, add an appropriate water glass?and mixed, and the mortar could be used again.

Magnesia refractory mortar is prepared at 8% to 10% of the volume of fire bricks used.
